Insert the CD Rom in your CD drive, select register and then select the second option to download the configuraion to your PC. You may need to install Internet Explorer and the Launcher before you can register your account on your new hardware.
You will be required to enter your dialup account name and password. With this information your specific account will be automatically downloaded including your email setup.
Should you wish to manually configure your machine then you need to create a new Dial Up Networking connection ( call the help desk for further information ) and manually enter the mail server settings ( as described below ).

How do I add/modify an
email account ?
To add
or modify an email account, or change the password, insert the CD
ROM in your CD drive and click 'Register'. Select option 3 'I
wish to change my account details' and follow the on screen
instructions. If you do not have a CD ROM please contact the Help
up
NOTE:
When changing the name of your email address ( e.g. from
joeb to joe.bloggs ) you will loose all emails
from your Inbox. If in doubt please call the Webkit Helpline or set
up a new email address instead of changing it ) It
depends on what e-mail software you are using. Here are some
popular e-mail programs - Netscape Navigator V3, Netscape
Communicator V4, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, Microsoft Internet Mail, Claris Emailer, Eudora Light (for Apple
Macintosh),
Eudora Light (PC). These manual
settings apply only when you use an e-mail program other than
the default. As a default, our CD will set up your e-mail

How do I manually
re-configure my email settings ?
1. Check your mail as normal before making the
following changes
2. Select the Options Menu
3. Select Mail and News Preferences
4. Within the preferences window click on the Servers
tab
5. Enter the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server
as mailhost.iclwebkit.co.uk
6. Enter the Incoming Mail (POP3) Server
as pophost1.iclwebkit.co.uk
7. Assuming that your email address is yourname,
in the POP3 User Name field enter yourname*iclwebkit.co.uk.
8. Click on the OK button to
automatically save the changes.
1. Select the Edit menu
2. Select the Preferences option from
the list
3. Click the box to the left of the Mail
& Newsgroups option which will pull down another list
4. On this list select the Mail Server option
5. Click Add (to create a new Incoming
Mail Server)

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol and is simply a mechanism for transferring files from one computer to another. Generally this takes place between a computer on the Internet and your computer at home/work.
Located on the Internet are FTP servers which are usually vast storage areas for software, documentation and picture files etc. FTP servers have directory structures much like your own machine and an FTP program will allow you to move around in those directories to find the files you wish to get hold of. Once you have found the file you want it's a simple process of initiating the transfer of the file from the FTP site onto your hard disk or vice versa.

WS_FTP
is one of the most popular FTP programs for the PC
providing an easy to use graphical front end to make file
transfers as straight forward as possible. WS_FTP has a
lot of settings but fortunately most of them can be left
on the default values. When starting the WS_FTP program
the first thing you will see is the main WS_FTP window
and in front of it, a Session Profile window.

From your Taskbar, click on the ‘Start’ button, select ‘Settings’, then ‘Control Panel’ and then ‘Add/Remove Programs’. From here select the Webkit software and click on the ‘Add/Remove..' button. The software will then be removed.
